Overview
With no shortage of zombie-inspired forms of other media formats, the shuffling hordes of the living dead have finally made their way to the Palm OS. Designed by Deluxeware and published by Astraware, Zombie Attack is a unique comical horror-themed take on a standard puzzle-type game.

The user-selectable options such as bombs, starting corner, and number of opposing zombies adds quite a bit of replayability and customization to what would otherwise be a very straightforward action-puzzler. I usually preferred to set up a customized Quick or Rescue game instead of the pre-defined Scenario game where the options cannot be toggled.

DHR Bandswitch

Requirements: WM5&WM6
Overview: Take control of your connections: Switch between 2G-3G Enable and disable connections. Disabling connections makes imposible to use them so you know they wont generate traffic data. Stablish and close connections. Set a time frame where connections wont be allowed (ie, when you are sleeping) saving money and battery.. Turn off/on Bluetooth and Wifi with or without time limite. When the limit expires then It is set to off state


In main screen you can:
Switch to auto mode.
Switch to GPRS mode.
Switch to UMTS without time limit or for few minutes (5, 10, 30, 60, 120). When the ellapse finishes the program will switch to GPRS again.
Enter you SIM PIN so you wont have to enter it each time you switch the band.
Close iddle connections. The program will close any connection that hasnt data traffic in X seconds.
There is a tray icon where you will the see the current state (GRPS, UMTS, Auto) and It's used to bring front the panel.
Turn ON/OFF Bluetooth and WIFI with or without time limit.

Use High Capacity SD cards (SDHC) in your PDA even if it doesn't support them!

This thread started out as one driver, but since more have been added since, I've merged them into one thread. If you have more to share, please post them here. Look further in the thread for the WM6 SDHC driver (for Artemis).

Install to device, insert new SDHC card and reset.

Then should work from then on. I didn't have any major problems, but Sprite Backup didn't work on the new card.

I keep another handy for Backup and with the SDHC driver on in case of Hard reset.

For every file you encrypt you may assign different password. But we understand that in some situation users would like to use the same password to encrypt/decrypt several files. So if you use the same password for all files you need to type it only once. After you close the application this password is reset and you will have to enter it again when you start the application.

BackCountry uses free topo and aerial maps for the United States, downloaded directly from Terraserver-USA.

* There are topographical maps at 4 meters per pixel scale, based on 1:24k.
* There is aerial photography in most areas at up to 1 meter pixel.
* To download maps, simply specify a center point, and size. No limitations to a particular county, state, or quadrangle.
* Download maps whenever your Pocket PC is connected to the internet: through wifi, wireless data plan, or ActiveSync.
* No need for desktop calibration software, CD-Roms, or subscriptions. Map data is public domain.


The software automatically loads multiple map scales, and displays them at a variety of zoom levels. You can freely pan and explore the area of your downloaded map.
There are also a number of ways you can add points of interest to your newly created map.

* Import places from the USGS database of over 2 million names.

Developed by Isotope 244 Graphics, Atomic Cannon Pocket brings back the classic tank sim game for the Pocket PC. The tank-looking machine called Atomic Cannon is fitted to fire 50 types of weapons and is your only hope for victory. There are a total of 25 terrains with 5 weather effects in Atomic Cannon. You can have up to 16 players with 5 tanks on each team to start the slaughter. The dynamic terrains give your team a different location each time, which make the game interesting. You will have a number of moves in each battle, which allow you to reposition your tanks in offensive or defensive tactics. You can set up to 20 rounds in each battle; the tank that does the most damage wins the battle. The game gives you an incredible level of flexibility with 10 difficulty settings, Wind levels, Kickback levels, landscape types and more, which allow you to completely customize the game to your own playing style. The newly added radio-active weapons that have lasting effects on the terrains and enemies are great fun to play with. The multiplayer mode will for sure makes this game irrisistable.

Atomic Cannon Pocket showcases some realistic landscapes with destructible foregrounds and stylish backgrounds. The game can be played in both portrait and landscape modes. The newly added scrollable battle field feature adds a dynamic look to the visuals. You will see flat land, hills, plateaus, gullies and slopes with snow or grass cover on the surface. Different weather patterns like rain, snow or blue sky also add atmosphere to the environment. There is a collection of 50 different weapons, some do huge damage with a big warhead and others do small damage but fall like rain. You will enjoy discovering the effects these weapons have on enemy tanks and terrain. There is a command bar on the bottom of your game screen where you can select which weapon you want to use in each round, the power level and the angle as well as a move button and a fire button. You can control the game with your stylus or hardware buttons.

Not only will you see trails of missiles firing and smoking rising out of the target, you will also experience the realistic sound FX of these powerful weapons. Each weapon has its own special sound effects when it’s fired or when it hits the target, and you can choose to turn the sound on or off. Atomic Cannon Pocket for the Pocket PC currently supports ARM/Xscale processors as well as MIPS processor, and it takes only 1.9MB storage space and 4MB of memory to run.

There is a tutorial in the game, which can help you to get used to the controls and get to know weapon range and characteristics. It’s a good idea to go through the tutorial first.

Atlantis Redux (Games)

For those of you who are familiar with BeyondAtlantis II on the PC, Atlantis Redux will look very familiar. Ported to the Pocket PC by Tetraedge Games, Atlantis Redux takes up a whopping 120 MB of memory, and requires a recent Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 2003 or Windows Mobile 2003 SE and a 400 MHz Xscale Processor.

You are a female archeologist who has information that leads her to believe there are ancient Egyptian ruins in the Hoggar desert. You move from the desert to strange areas with Egyptian pyramids and temples. Right at the start of the game, you can tell the game will be filled with mystical worlds and puzzles. The whole game is filled with mind-bending puzzles to keep you entertained. You may even ask other people that you know for help while you play Atlantis Redux and it may even become a good conversation topic for you to use. In other words, some of these puzzles are hard, and may become frustrating, but they make the game more fun to play. All of this adds up to many hours of play, so you get what you paid for. There are plenty of characters in the game, and I think there are enough to make the game entertaining, while not too many so the game is not confusing. All of the characters have different personalities, some are good and some are bad. All of the characters help to move the game along, for the better, or for the worse.

The controls in Atlantis Redux were easy to get used to. You could either tap on the left or the right side of the screen to turn left or right, or you could use the left or right D-Pad buttons. Pressing down on the D-Pad brought up the inventory menu, and so did the second button from the bottom of the handheld. The button on the bottom of the handheld brings up the menu. If you press the up button, it will do the action that is pictured in the center of your screen. You can also tap on the action pictured in the center of your screen. Some examples of the actions are moving forward, talking, using items, and picking up an item.

One of the best features in the game is its spectacular graphics. During all of the videos, the graphics will blow you away. Also, the other graphics in the game are done very well. When the characters talk, their mouths move, and there is expression. All the scenery is done well, and is appealing to the eye. The action symbols that are necessary for you to play the game are easy to comprehend, even if you don’t read the instructions. Unfortunately, the website says that it is not a VGA game, but it will run on VGA devices for all you proud VGA device owners. There is plenty of color in the game and there is shading, etc. All the characters are 3D also. The game uses a 360-degree view, so when you turn left or right, it is a continuation of what you were seeing before. In other words, if you took pictures of each screen when you turned, they would all connect to each other, in a circle, like a puzzle. If you want a game with stunning graphics, this is the game for you!

Not only does Atlantis Redux feature breathtaking graphics, the sounds and music in the game are great, too. Everywhere you go, there is music and sound effects. The music compliments what is happening in the game and the mood. Also, there are characters with voices. Voices!!! I have never played a Pocket PC game that features characters with voices. Not only are there voices, but they are also synchronized with the character’s expression and mouth movements. There is also music, sound effects, and voices during the videos, making the stunning graphics come together with great sound, and creating a masterpiece.

Atlantis Redux is a simply amazing game that could keep you on your Pocket PC for hours at a time. It combines stunning graphics, amazing sounds, music, and a great storyline into one package. This game is perfect for you if you either like puzzles, a good adventure game, or both. It is also good for you even if you only play a game every once and a while. The amount of space it takes up is overwhelming, and I think that this game would make a great candidate to be sold on a SD/CF memory card. Atlantis Redux should be nominated for an award, and Tetraedge deserves it!

Playing tips and hints:
